Partnership for 21st Century Skills
Victoria, I agree with you about it all starting in Early childhood. I think sometimes we don't give the students enough credit as to what they are capable of doing and learning. I believe that they are capable of so much...given the opportunity. As educators, we need to be able to bring them into the 21st century with the skills necessary to succeed. It is up to us to be informed and to learn about how to better integrate the technology to best fit the needs of the students.

As I continue my reading it reminded me, when our school district receives new adopted books. Similar components are require for example comparing the standards; reviewing assessments; curriculum and instructions; future professonal development; and materials needed for the learning environment.

I totally agree and also excited that in the education environment we are moving forward with realistic goals. Therefore more educators need to intergate Global Awareness, Financial, Entrepreneu, and Health,learning environments.

Our furture leaders, beginning with our pre-k students need educators that will enchance their creativity and innovation skills. Students need to have access to internet as needed and sufficient technology equipment should be available.
Another important skills that is mentioned is the ritical Thinking & Problem Solving ditto sheets for our students to occupy time is like having computers collecting dust. Also enchancing communication & collaboration skills; our students need to listen to many stories during the day read from books plus read online websites.
